Service Preparation

Below is a quick guide on how to prepare for your service appointment

Lawn Preparation Requirements

To ensure your service is completed efficiently and to the highest standard, please have the work area fully prepared before our arrival.

General Yard Preparation

  • Remove all animal waste from the lawn.

  • Clear the work area of toys, hoses, lawn furniture, and play structures.

  • Unlock all gates and ensure clear access paths for our equipment.

    • Gates and access points must provide a minimum clear width of 29 inches for aeration equipment and 32 inches for dethatching equipment.

Marking & Underground Items

Please clearly mark:

  • Sprinkler heads located within the lawn

  • Oil caps

  • Invisible dog fences

  • Any shallow wiring or underground obstructions

Failure to mark these items may result in damage for which we cannot be held responsible.

Note: Lawn flags, spray paint, bamboo sticks all work well for marking.

 

Dethatching Services

  • The lawn must be mowed short prior to service.

  • If moss is a primary concern, moss control products may be applied several days in advance.

  • We do not haul away debris.

  • Thatch will be raked and placed into your lawn waste bin and/or bags.

  • Paper lawn bags are available for purchase at $1 per bag, if needed.

Aeration Services (Dry Months)

  • Please water the lawn deeply the evening before service to soften the soil and allow for proper core penetration.

Access & Payment

  • Customer presence is not required at the time of service, please communicate this in advance.

  • If you will not be onsite, all preparation must be completed in advance.

  • Payment: Credit card payment is taken in person upon completion of service.

    • If the customer is not present, an emailed invoice will be sent upon completion and is due and payable online upon receipt.

Failure to complete the above preparation, provide access, or be available as scheduled may result in reduced service quality, delays, rescheduling, or a no-show charge in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy.
