What does my lawn need?
Not sure which lawn service is right for you? You don’t need to be a lawn expert before contacting us. Every lawn is a little different, but this simple guide can help you decide which of our services may make the most sense for your lawn.
Start With Your Lawn’s Condition
Find the description below that sounds the most like your lawn.
My Lawn Is Healthy — I Want to Keep It That Way
Lawn Revival — Our Recommended Routine Maintenance
A healthy lawn still needs maintenance to stay thick, green and vigorous. Rather than waiting for a lawn to become thin or patchy, we believe in periodically introducing fresh grass seed and nutrients to help maintain turf density.
Core aeration helps relieve soil compaction and creates openings in the lawn and soil. We then overseed and apply starter fertilizer to encourage fresh grass growth.
$60 per additional 1,000 sq. ft. for a single property.
My Lawn Is Thin or Patchy
Lawn Revival
If the existing lawn is generally healthy but has become thin, sparse or patchy, Lawn Revival is often a good place to start.
Aeration opens the soil while overseeding introduces fresh grass seed throughout the existing lawn. Starter fertilizer provides nutrients to support the new growth.
$60 per additional 1,000 sq. ft. for a single property.
My Lawn Has Heavy Thatch, Moss or Dead Grass
Thatching
When a lawn has accumulated thatch, moss or dead grass material, power thatching can help remove that material and open the turf back up.
We use single, overlapping passes. When thatching, we do not haul anything away, but we will rake the material up and place it in your lawn waste and/or bags. We also have paper lawn bags available for $1 each if needed.
$60 per additional 1,000 sq. ft. for a single property.
My Lawn Needs a More Complete Reset
The Works
If your lawn has significant moss, thatch, dead grass or thinning and needs more than routine maintenance, The Works is our most complete lawn service.
We first remove accumulated material with power thatching, then aerate the lawn, overseed with up to 10 lbs. of grass seed and apply starter fertilizer.
This is designed for lawns that need a more complete reset rather than simple routine maintenance.
$140 per additional 1,000 sq. ft. for a single property.
My Soil Is Compacted
If the lawn itself is in good condition but the soil has become compacted, core aeration alone may be all you need.
Aeration
$80 + tax up to 2,000 sq. ft.
$15 per additional 1,000 sq. ft. for a single property.
What About Weeds or Other Lawn Problems?
Our focus is turf health and growth through aeration, thatching, overseeding and fertilizer. We do not provide herbicide or weed-control applications.
We also do not provide soil services such as topdressing, soil installation or lawn leveling. We do not provide irrigation work or artificial turf installation.
If your lawn needs soil work, grading, leveling or other services outside of what we offer, those services would need to be handled by another company.
Before We Arrive
For thatching and seeding services, please mow the lawn short ahead of service.
Sprinkler heads located within the lawn, oil caps and invisible dog fences should be clearly marked. Please also clear the yard of animal waste before our visit.
If you can’t be there at the time of service, that’s no problem. We can email you an invoice once the work is done, which can be paid online.
